The legendary music artist took to Instagram late Thursday to delight her 18.9 million followers with fresh content. Madonna, who skyrocketed to fame in the 80s, shared a video soundtracked by her 2008 hit “Give It 2 Me.” In the clip, the 64-year-old gleefully indulged in whipped cream while showcasing her vibrant red-dyed hair in a variety of styles, including two long braids captured in a single shot.
Another portion of the whipped cream clip also showed Madonna in straight hair and a black baseball cap, which had bold white letters that read, ‘spiritually hungry.’
The pop star also rocked a long long-sleeved black shirt that had the statement ‘below average professional,’ written on it. At the start of the clip she mouthed, ‘It’s time for a clock. It’s time for a reminder of time.’ Some portion of clips showed Madonna embracing a fresh-faced, makeup-free look, while in others, she confidently rocked a bold rouge matte lipstick. The behind-the-scenes clip did offer a sneak peek into her intense rehearsals for her upcoming world tour.
Throughout the energetic video, Madonna donned various eye-catching outfits, including black fishnet tights, silk pink boxing shorts, and a flowing black robe.
A particular scene stood out as the music momentarily paused, capturing Madonna surrounded by her glam squad. With a playful touch, she stood before a backstage vanity and declared, “I’m so thirsty.” The controversial entertainer wrote in the caption: ‘Absolutely No Regrets…….’ This comes days after Madonna reportedly gave a candid glimpse into the extreme efforts, she puts into preparing for her tour, showing visible bruises on her bare legs.
Madonna embarked on rehearsals for her 12th concert tour, in early April, leading up to the tour’s kickoff on July 15 with an already sold-out show in Vancouver, before making its way south through the west coast of the United States.
She has plans to spend October through early December moving through Europe, before heading back to North America. However, it had earlier this year been reported that Madonna’s, “Little Sparrow,” was abandoned after an extensive period of development. Last June, the news surfaced that Julia Garner had been cast as Madonna, indicating progress in the production. But then, in January, reports emerged the project had been put on hold.
In a recent update, Madonna has now shared a playful photo of herself and Julia, captured during photographer Steven Klein’s 58th birthday celebration, as reported by the New York Post.
Alongside the snapshot, Madonna captioned it with the words, ‘B**** we’re Madonna!’ On the other hand, the pop star had suffered setbacks during her Madame X Tour as she dealt with knee and hip injuries, ultimately leading to the cancellation of 14 shows out of the total 75 scheduled dates from 2019 to 2020. An incident occurred on February 27, 2020, during her performance at Le Grand Rex in Paris and she called herself a broken doll held together with tape.
At the time, the twice-divorced mom-of-six lamented on Instagram, ‘If only knees didn’t twist and cartilage didn’t tear and nothing hurt and tears never fell out of our eyes. But alas they do and thank god for this important reminder that we are human.’
