Fitness Influencer Larissa Borges Aged 33 Following A Double Cardiac Arrest
Larissa Borges passed away after being hospitalized in a coma for more than a week.
She left our world on August 28 after being hospitalized in a coma for over a week. Larissa Borges was admitted to the hospital on August 20th after suffering cardiac arrest in the city of Gramado, per posts from her family on social media. She had built a huge following of over 30,000 and was known for sharing selfies, and photos from vacations, including health and wellness content.
The family of Larissa Borges kept fans updated on the influencer’s condition by taking over her account.
Fans continually commented with well wishes and messages of support, reading, ‘Jesus bless you, Lari! I’m praying for you’ and ‘Stay strong, Larissa.’ However, her family has now shared the heartbreaking update that she has died, adding that the Brazilian fitness influencer fought courageously for her life. ‘Our beloved daughter, take your steps with God and be blessed,’ her parents wrote.
Larissa Borges, the physical and education student, sadly passed away after suffering a second cardiac arrest.
Three days before being hospitalized, Larissa posted a photo of herself posing in Gramado, wearing a black puffer coat and checked skirt. Other photos shared a day before the cardiac arrest, show the fitness influencer in a trendy all-black outfit, and the post she captioned, ‘memories,’ with a tag that indicated she had been at the city’s cinema festival during her visit. So far, comments under the post that announced her passing read, ‘Forever in our hearts.’

Per DailyMail, Larissa’s family is now seeking donations to transfer the body from Gramado to her hometown, Brasilia. A family member wrote, ‘Any amount, however small, will make a difference and help ease the financial burden facing the family during this very challenging time.’ While some fans who knew Larissa personally wrote about how much they would miss her presence, local police have said they are investigating the 33-year-old’s death.
