King Charles III Says He Wants “To Express My Love For Harry And Meghan” As He Extends Olive Branch To Them
King Charles III made his first address to Britain since the Queen’s passing as the new monarch. Through it, he wished to “express my love for Harry and Meghan as they continue to build their lives overseas.”
The 73-year-old King Charles III’s 9-minute speech was filled with a heartfelt message to continue carrying his dear mother’s conviction and wish for Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s wellness.
Prince Harry and Meghan had not received the best reaction lately again after the younger of the brothers arrived late at Balmoral Castle, where other royal families had flown earlier to be at before the death announcement. He was almost one and half an hour late.
A rift formed between the brothers and, ultimately, between the Sussexes and the Royal Family as soon as they broke off and moved to the US. The couple held a sensational interview with Oprah Winfrey, which sent the Royal Family into a crisis.
While the country was still in a mourning period after Prince Philip’s death, Prince Harry continued to flame the embers by saying that his father, the Queen, and the Duke of Edinburgh, had failed in parenting.
King Charles III has been busy touring around the UK as Operation London Bridge commences, leading up to the day of Queen Elizabeth II’s funeral.
Prince Harry and Meghan’s constant exposure of alleged Royal Family stories had them particularly seen in disdain by royal insiders. During the time of Queen’s final moments, they had “incredulously” announced they’d travel to Balmoral Castle. The Royal Family, astonished, requested them to fix it as only Prince Harry will be welcomed.
The father-and-son met for 15 minutes for the first time in two years, not long after his interview. He recalled that there was “a lot of hurt” and his father, King Charles, was not picking up his phone calls anymore. And not long after, he got involved in another fight with William, as Meghan accused Kate of making her cry at her wedding, but William said it was the other way around.
He mentioned that they were on “different paths” in 2019. And we’re now waiting for even more stories from Prince Harry’s memoir that’s set to be released in 2022.
