Judge’s Unbelievable Excuse For Wearing Only Underwear During Court Case Earned 3 Months Of Suspension

“I am the only woman who does not have the right to wear a bathing suit.”

A Colombian judge has been suspended for three months after she went viral for conducting a court hearing from the comfort of her bed.

Vivian Polania from Colombia was in a casual shirt and underwear when she appeared in a Zoom meeting for a court hearing on the case of a terror attack against the army brigade with a car strapped with explosives. The 34-year-old’s behavior was deemed inappropriate, violating several administrative regulations per the Judicial Disciplinary Commission in Norte de Santander’s ruling.

The judge was sprawled on the bed whilst puffing smoke and her lower half was barely covered as others were able to see she only had underwear on.

A lengthy ruling was passed down and at one part, explained, “Such a situation is not consistent with the care, respect and circumspection with which a judge of the republic must administer justice, denoting a clear lack of respect from the official.”

Polania appeared to have closed her video throughout for almost an hour, only to reveal a shocking “deplorable” view of herself while slurring her speech. As it appeared she’d accidentally turned it on and quickly shut the camera down when a lawyer told her that her camera was on.

Polania who often shares raunchy posts on her page is currently suspended from her job until February as she was deemed unfit to continue her journey.

Polania reasoned later that she was overworked and mentally exhausted.

Polania accused other judges in Cúcuta as the perpetrators, after being constantly bullied and even threatened with disciplinary action for the way she dressed. But this isn’t the first time that her fashion option has become the reason she’s under scrutiny.

The judge spoke of how she’s received offers from designer clothing companies thanks to her raunchy Instagram posts and was dubbed the “versatile judge.” She said then of her popularity, “A person does not take pictures for the sake of taking them or to have people hit the ‘like’ button.”

“When you have a large number of followers, companies and designers start looking for you to give you discounts or promotions.”

The Disciplinary Board held a hearing and investigated her behavior, stating: “According to the content of the news, the room considers that at first instance the judicial worker could face prohibitions as pointed out in the article 154-6.”

She shared her thoughts, “I am the only woman who does not have the right to wear a bathing suit, because rather, it goes against the dignity of the administration of justice.”
