Jennifer Lopez sizzled in a vibrant yellow swimsuit to promote her Delola cocktail line.
The superstar posted gorgeous photos to Instagram that showed her in a curve-hugging one-piece. The high-cut swimsuit flaunted Jennifer Lopez’s cleavage and hips as she posed on lounge chairs. This comes as her latest venture was slammed by fans who pointed out Lopez started a liquor brand despite her abstinence as well as that her husband Ben Affleck has been open about his struggle to stay sober.
Of the high-cut swimsuit look, Lopez had her skin bright glow, which she accented with gold hoops and a multicolored headscarf.
She captioned the post, ‘Summer is finally here @Delola is the official drink of the summer … so sit back, open a bottle, pour over ice & enjoy! XOXO, Lola #DelolaLife’. The backlash began on April 4 when Lopez treated her 24K followers to a promotional clip that showed her cooling off with her low-calorie spritzes as she basked in the Mediterranean sunshine. Lopez appears unfazed despite fans conveying their disappointment.
‘You don’t even drink alcohol yourself!’ commented one critic. ‘Why push this on others – you know the harm it does that’s why you don’t drink it!’ ‘Wow,’ wrote another disillusioned fan. ‘I’m so disappointed and confused by the narrative that she puts out about how she doesn’t drink alcohol and all the benefits of not drinking. And her partner is sober?’ Many slammed it as a shameless cash grab since Lopez had spoken about the negative health effects of alcohol.
‘Did you even consider partnering with a non-alcoholic brand?’ asked a follower, leading many to declare, ‘Do better JLo!’ In the caption of the promotional clip, Lopez had written, ‘‘The secret is out!!!’. ‘I’m proud to share with you @DELOLA … my new collection of unique, mixology-level ready-to-enjoy spritzes. More is #OnTheJLo. Let’s live the #DelolaLife together @gregswalesart.’ In an interview with InStyle, the actress insisted that alcohol ruins the skin.
In an interview with UsWeekly back in 2016, Lopez cited her alcohol-free lifestyle as one of the ultimate secrets to looking so young. Most of her fans, however, wish she had gone in the direction of an alcohol-free beverage or even a mocktail.
