“I’m A 70-Year-Old Fitness Instructor, I Was Born To Help People Get Ripped”

According to Guinness World Records, Wendy Ida is officially the ‘oldest active fitness instructor [multiple disciplines]. She has many clients who come to her with low confidence and a sense of despair, providing them with workable plans while also teaching them how to prioritize their health. The grandma-of-four is considered an inspiration and she herself finds her clients motivating.

The super-ripped fitness instructor, Wendy Ida, is still fighting fit at 70 as she loves her job, insisting she was born to help people get fit and ripped.

“Exercise helped me with my confidence, then I started helping other women too,” she told Cover Real Life. “I’ve helped thousands of women all over the map and have clients from Canada to Sicily reaching out to me. “They come to me with no confidence. They say I’m their last hope, and my heart sinks. “I counsel them over the phone and Zoom, and I make a blueprint for them and show them how to prioritize themselves.”

Wendy added, “Years later, they say how happy they are and how their life has changed. I’m told I’m inspirational, but they inspire me too and keep me going.” The fitness instructor has had to deal with people not believing she’s 70 years old when she tells them. She’s often asked for her driving license because she looks so fabulous, with most thinking she’s still in her forties. Wendy is indeed a youthful queen, and her body is a bang!

Helping people has given the fitness instructor a sense of purpose, and she feels she was born to support women in their fitness journey.

She exclaimed, “I found that helping women is my purpose. I found the reason I was born. I want to inspire everyone who says, ‘I’m too old and can’t do it’. Do a little exercise, work your way up, and don’t take no for an answer. Your mental toughness will grow as you go, and you will become more resilient as a result. If you do nothing, you’ll lose energy, and life will become more difficult. You need to take baby steps if you want to keep your body healthy for a lifetime like I have done.”
