‘I’m A Size 20 & Tried On Different High-Street Jeans To See How They Fit – You Shouldn’t Trust Sizing’

“Why we can’t trust the size on the tag.”

A “chunky cutie club” member decided to try on a myriad of high street jeans in plus size so her followers don’t have to. And as Dyllan continued to try one pair after another, it just made the fact that sizing is a concept that can be different between companies clearer.

After one viral video after another, it seems that Dyllan has a clear case of sizing being a lie and that a number is really just a number.

“They’re making things off of what they believe is a size 16,” Dyllan spoke as a size-16 fashionista.

She is size 20 in the UK and 14 to 16 in the US and had hauled herself 18 pairs of jeans all in the same size of 16. She shared the video with her 472,000 TikTok followers and started her video with, “Hi, Welcome to my episode of why we can’t trust the size on the tag.”

She had to hilariously attempt to fit in some of the pairs but look absolutely comfortable in others.

The ball of confidence went on trying all the jeans and insisted twice, “Every jeans that I try on is gonna be a size 16 and you’re gonna see that they all fit me entirely differently.”

She explained that every company’s specs for their clothing line define their own sizing and that’s why almost none would have the same one. She continued, “You know how because every single brand and every single company has their own set of specs.”

“They are making things off of what they believe is a size 16,” she continued. “That’s why nothing makes sense and that’s why we can’t be stressed over the number on the tag.”

Her video was such a breath of fresh air as viewers relate to the struggle.

“It’s the hip hula hoop pull for me. I like to do the drop it hot stretch them jeans every time,” commented one.

“I need this when I’m in the fitting room wanting to cry because I honestly have no idea what size I am anymore,” commented another.

Another wrote, “The struggle is Real!!”
