How To Look Like Victoria Beckham: As The Age-Defying Star, 49, Shares Her Painful Beauty Regime
Just recently, Victoria Beckham revealed the painful skincare routine she undergoes to look ageless.
The fashion mogul has constantly hit headlines for her diet including when her husband David Beckham claimed she only eats grilled fish and vegetables, while friend Rio Ferdinand stated he’s never seen her eat. In 2011, Victoria Beckham shared she starts the day by splashing her face with ice water before kicking off her skincare while she also confirmed at the time that she had moved from a cardio-heavy workout routine to strength training.
Yet again, Victoria Beckham is in the news as she has revealed the painful £700 skincare routine, she undergoes to keep her skin looking ageless. Victoria undergoes Morpheus8 and as per MailOnline, it’s one of the world’s most painful non-invasive cosmetic procedures every six months, involving putting 24 needles into the face but the 49-year-old swears by it for keeping her skin youthful. With these latest details of her beauty regimen, it’s, however, worth diving into what Victoria has shared in time past about routine, exercises, and diet. Have a look!

Victoria Beckham’s Skin Care Routine?

To follow suit on the Morpheus8 routine, you will have to shell out £700 per routine. And following the procedure, Victoria typically takes a minimum of two days to recover and to allow the bruising to go down. A source told The Sun about the routine, ‘Victoria loves her beauty treatments and is willing to try out new techniques when it comes to keeping her skin looking so good. She has one Morpheus8 treatment every six months.

The source added, ‘It is not for the faint-hearted and she has anaesthetic numbing cream applied to her skin 90 minutes before her treatment, which sees 24 4mm needles inserted into her face. A radio frequency is then transmitted through the needles, which goes through to the tissue underneath her skin. It is painful, but Victoria swears by it for keeping her skin looking so good.’
Aside from the painful skincare routine, Victoria in her interview with Glamour in 2011 spoke of her morning routine, which includes splashing some cold water on her face. She said, ‘In the morning I start by splashing some cold water on my face to reverse any puffiness or dullness (or glass of tequila) from the prior night. I learned this little tip from Melanie Grant, my favorite facialist. She taught me to dunk my face in ice water, but most mornings I just use ice-cold water from the tap.’
Victoria also spoke of a less-is-more approach to skin care. ‘Fewer, better products are the way to go. I don’t have the time or patience to be fiddling with ten different products at a time. Over the years I’ve learned what ingredients work for my skin. I like to use very powerful formulas that have many benefits and include key active ingredients like niacinamide, hyaluronic acid, and Professor Augustinus Bader’s TFC8 technology.’

She continued, ‘That’s why our Power Serum is my holy grail for both day and night. It contains all of these key ingredients plus vitamin E and olive fruit extract, which help protect against free radicals and blue-light damage — so important for how much time I’ve been spending in front of the screen.’
Victoria Beckham’s Diet?
In 2022, Victoria gave an insight into her extreme diet after David made the grilled fish and vegetables revelation during an interview on the River Che Table 4 podcast. He said: ‘I get quite emotional about food and wine, when I’m eating something great, I want everyone to try it. Unfortunately, I’m married to someone that has eaten the same thing for the last 25 years. Since I met her, she only eats grilled fish, steamed vegetables, she will very rarely deviate from that.’

Following David’s comment, Victoria raged at the football legend for making her diet options sound boring and explained in an interview with Vogue Australia that she fills her diet with healthy fat and often goes through detoxes where she ditches alcohol. She shared, ‘I mean, talk about making me sound boring! No. What he meant is that he’s never met anyone who’s more disciplined with the way that they eat.’
Victoria added, ‘I eat lots of healthy fat: fish, avocado, nuts, that sort of thing. I do drink alcohol, unless I have a reason not to. I’ll detox from anything for three to six months where I won’t drink. I’m quite extreme in anything I do, whether it’s eating or working out or drinking or not drinking.’ These comments also came after a TV chef revealed the star’s dinner demands of a bowl of mints and coconut water during Sergio Ramos’s wedding in 2019.
Victoria Beckham’s Exercise Routine?

Last year, the fashion mogul shared snippets of her exercise regime on Instagram and left her followers stunned with an overhead squat with an Olympic bar. The caption read, ‘I follow my training session which I vary day-to-day to focus on different areas of the body. Today I’m focusing on my upper-body strength, with a combination of resistance-band exercises.’
In early 2023, Victoria was again seen doing triceps dip. She wrote in the caption, ‘I’m in my strength training phase! Before and after every session, it’s key to mobilise and stretch. Recovery is as important as the work itself!’ In her interview with Glamour, the beauty admitted to being a bit scared of weights but it turns out she now loves them.
She told the publication, ‘I’ve always been a bit scared of weights, but it turns out I love them. I’ve even got those special gloves to wear! It’s good to switch things up and keep your body guessing. I’ve got so much more muscle tone now.’ On body image, Victoria continued: ‘It’s not about being a certain size. It’s about knowing who you are and being happy with who you are.’

She stated further, ‘I have found my own balance between wanting to have fun and being disciplined about eating healthily and working out. When you’re younger you fight against that balance, but through being older I’ve reached a place where I know what that balance looks like. I just know what works for me.’
