Horror Fans Plagued With Restless Nights After Watching Bone-Chilling New Series Of FROM
FROM’s unsettling and chilling new series left horror TV fans sleepless and plagued by nightmares.
The second season of the sci-fi horror series, FROM arrived on NOW TV last month, and the exceptional performances of Harold Perrineau and Catalina Sandino Moreno have since captivated its viewers. Crafted by the imaginative mind of John Griffin, the show leads audiences on an expedition as they untangle the mysteries of an isolated American town.

As portrayed in the series FROM, the small town in the USA ensnares any residents who enter it.

And with the unwilling residents fighting to preserve their sanity amidst the chaos, they become embroiled in a harrowing struggle for survival against ominous perils lurking in the encompassing woods, all while desperately searching for a means of escape. Viewers tuning into the show, which first premiered last February, have been left disturbed.

Taking to Twitter, viewers didn’t hessite to share their opinions as someone remarked, ‘I’ve never been so scared of a TV show!’ Another watcher penned: ‘Gotta watch cartoons after watching #from.’

A third wrote: ‘That show really f**ked me man. Can’t sleep.’ ‘This series is so freaking goooood it’s giving me nightmares’ tweeted a fourth. A fifth added: ‘I am completely and utterly OBSESSED and in love with #From. Easily one of my fav shows in a long time. I’ve never been so scared of a tv show, literal nightmares at night but still want more. It needs to stay on forever, Sunday has become my fav day of the week!’

‘I haven’t watched anything that’s as scary and creepy as #FROM. this show is absolutely scary, but I’m a mystery and sci-fi nerd, so I will soldier on,’ shared a sixth.

Another quipped, ‘Whoever told me to watch #From I hate you, it’s so good but yet terrifying asf!’ This comes as fans had been left with insomnia after watching Netflix film Wounds. The 2019 psychological horror film, featuring Armie Hammer and Dakota Johnson, proved to be so deeply disturbing that viewers openly admitted to enduring nightmarish scenes. A shaken fan at the time fittingly remarked, “I guess I won’t sleep tonight.”

The narrative revolves around Will, expertly portrayed by Hammer, a bartender residing in the haunting city of New Orleans. When he picks up an abandoned phone in his run-down bar, he unwittingly embarks on a journey through a series of eerie and unsettling events. As Will delves into the photos and videos stored within the device, he was confronted by unimaginable horrors that send shivers down his spine. To compound his unease, cryptic messages from a distressed individual named Garrett hint at an ominous presence haunting him from the depths of a tunnel.

The unnerving experiences continue to haunt Will, leaving him perpetually unsettled. In the film, Johnson embodies the character of Carrie, who grows more suspicious as she unintentionally overhears her husband engaged in a secretive late-night conversation and is subsequently denied access to his phone. As the bartender finds himself entangled in a series of enigmatic occurrences, his mental well-being begins to unravel. Zazie Beetz portrays Alicia, Will’s ex-partner, while Karl Glusman takes on the role of Jeffrey, Alicia’s boyfriend.

Fans eagerly tuned in to experience the chilling horror crafted by director Babak Anvari and promptly expressed their deep emotions and reactions. So, I’m watching #Wounds and it’s kind of scary’ commented one viewer at the time. Another shared: ‘Jesus Christ, I just watched “#Wounds” on #Netflix and I guess I won’t sleep tonight. This is the most terrifying movie I have watched in a very long time. ‘I’m all about Dakota Johnson at the moment. Now I’m watching #Wounds. It’s gross’ shared a third watcher.

A fourth diverted from the film, with a focus on Dakota Johnson, ‘Just finished watching #wounds on Netflix. Not as scary as I thought it would be but the ending was creepy af! #dakotajohnson delivers her scenes well in my opinion.
