In April 2019, viewers first set their eyes on the 1st live-action Sonic the Hedgehog trailer. With many fans, who have long waited, feeling disappointed about it, the 1st trailer followed a bunch of memes, posts, and jokes.
Specifically, the earlier released trailer was showered with mockery and harsh words, prompting Jeff Fowler, the director of the film to announce on Twitter that the production will rework on Sonic’s design in order to fit into fans’ expectations.

And compared to the old one, the new design looks good
Behold, it’s finally here. After waiting for about half a year, we have gotten the result of those promises. The 2nd trailer for Sonic the Hedgehog movie was unveiled and people hurried to view it.

Presently, the video’s likes and dislikes ratio ranges from about 29k likes to 417 dislikes, with favorable responses from its viewers. It’s apparent the team at Paramount did bring about a better one.
With memes flowing around the internet for the 2nd trailer, revealing how much people thought the prospects of the film was improved by just tweaking one blue CGI Hedgehog, it’s also best the animator teams are applauded for giving a brilliant final product.
Scheduled for release in the United States on February 14, 2020, the film stars’ talents, includes James Marsden, Jim Carrey and Ben Schwartz who will be lending his voice to Sonic.
The new version, however, appears less terrifying than the first, but kindly take a look at yourself.
