Heartbreaking Video Shows Ukrainian Dad Saying Goodbye To His Evacuating Daughter During Invasion
Men between 18 and 60 have been banned from leaving the country.
A video of a Ukrainian dad and his little daughter has left the world heartbroken! The footage showed the tearful father bidding farewell to his daughter before she fled the war-torn country. He couldn’t make the journey with his family as he had been forced to stay behind due to a ban that prevented all able-fighting men from leaving Ukraine.
Filmed in a safe zone, the man was seen hugging and kissing his daughter and wife before they left in a vehicle conveying them out of the country.
But then, the father had cried furiously as he prepared the young daughter to leave with her mother, fleeing the country for at least the foreseeable future. The girl’s mom was also seen looking unhappy as her husband and daughter embraced for the final time. So far, the video shared by @journoloji on Twitter has been liked by thousands and flooded with comments.

As a result of the ongoing invasion, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has urged its men to carry arms and defend their homeland.
Likewise, the Ukrainian border agency has banned men between the ages of 18 and 60 from leaving the country, claiming the measure aims to guarantee Ukraine’s defense and the organization of timely mobilization. The temporary ban will remain in force for the duration of martial law declared on Thursday Morning.
Legendary boxers and brothers Vitali and Wladimir Klitschko have also vowed to fight for Ukraine amid the ongoing Russian Invasion.
However, the UN Refugee Agency has revealed that 100,000 people have been forced to flee their homes. Heart-rending photos have continued to emerge online, showing how women are holding their babies and kissing their partners goodbye before boarding a bus out of Kyiv.
