Fans Slam The Portion Sizes Of Food From Kourtney And Travis’ Wedding A ‘Joke’ After It Went Viral
“I’ve never seen someone do shots of pasta before.”
Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker are officially married for the THIRD TIME. The occasion, which took place over the weekend at a medieval castle in the village of Portofino, Italy, appeared incredibly fun, and their guests didn’t also hesitate to film and share behind-the-scenes photos and videos from the reception.
Among the numerous videos, including that of Travis’s daughter Alabama, a particular one from inside the wedding has attracted reactions after it went viral.
The video was shared by sister Kylie Jenner, featuring the food stations at the wedding. The mom-of-one, who had documented much of the event on her TikTok, filmed a barrel of pasta served on lavish Dolce & Gabbana plates. The small portion size of pasta in Kylie’s video has since been found surprising.
Each plate contained a minuscule amount of pasta placed perfectly in the middle.
In response to @amelia_perrin post about the food, one person commented: “The pasta portion size at Kourtney Kardashian’s wedding is one of the saddest things I’ve ever seen.” This tweet instantly went viral, garnering over 350K likes and tons of comments. “This is a joke, right? Another asked.
While a third quipped: “I’ve never seen someone do shots of pasta before,” alongside a laughing emoji.
Some people pointed out the portion sizes seem typical of gourmet cuisine, where several dishes of smaller sizes are served. “It’s called gourmet cuisine, here in Italy most of luxury restaurants are on this wave. Portions are never as big as they are in the USA.” one person said. Another wrote: “of course there’s not a lot on one plate. The point of this kind of meal is that you try 10+ different dishes. It’s not a wave, that’s how it has been for decades.”
While Kylie’s video has sparked a divided reaction, her other TikToks had a more positive response, especially as they were raw footage from the event.

In a video with her sister Kendell, Kylie sipped from what looked like an alcoholic shot as the two danced in front of the camera. She then poked fun at Kendall in the caption: “me and Cucumber girl,” – a reference to the model’s attempt at cutting a cucumber that went viral after it aired in an episode of the family’s TV show The Kardashians.

In the hilarious scene, mom Kris had to call for help from their chef as the model struggled with cutting the vegetable.
In another, Kylie also shared a clip of Kendall trying to walk up a narrow staircase with her super-tight, floor-length dress. Despite switching from her heels to flats, the model walked awkwardly.
Kylie didn’t hold back in sharing the video on her Instagram story to give followers a look at the reality behind the scene.
