The ‘Wicked’ actor locked off his account, hours after the news broke on the internet that Ariana Grande has moved on with the actor following the end of her two-year marriage to Dalton Gomez. TMZ was the first to report the romance news, sharing a photo of Ethan Slater and Grande from the Wicked cast’s celebration of Michelle Yeoh’s Oscar win back in March.

The relationship news between Ethan Slater and Grande comes just days after sources confirmed the singer and Gomez had separated and ‘ultimately were not a good fit!’

“Ariana and Dalton’s friends have always been concerned by their whirlwind romance and felt their relationship would ultimately be short-lived,” a source told ET of both Grande and Dalton, who had tied the knot in May 2021, five months after announcing their engagement. “Their relationship has been rocky at different points, and they’ve had trouble making time for each other with scheduling issues.”

Per TMZ, Ethan Slater, who was formerly married to his high school classmate, Lily Jay in 2018, and Grande are officially dating a source also told the publication, “Ariana and Ethan recently started dating. They have a lot in common and have a lot of fun,” the source shared. “They didn’t start dating until both were broken up Gtheir significant others. Ariana and Dalton remain friends.”

However, Grande received ample support from her fellow cast members in Wicked after the announcement of her split. Recently, she and her Fiyero, Jonathan Bailey, known for his role in Bridgerton, were seen together at the Wimbledon men’s final last weekend. Also, she was spotted shopping in London on Tuesday, with Cynthia Erivo, who plays Elphaba to Glinda in the musical. Meanwhile, Wicked is set to be released in two parts in November 2024 and 2025.
