Elon Musk’s Dad, 76, Says He’s Had A Second Child With His Stepdaughter
“If I could have another child. I would. I can’t see any reason not to.”
Errol has proved he shares in his son’s desire to procreate with his admission of fathering a second child with his beautiful stepdaughter Jana Bezuidenhout. The 76-Year-Old welcomed a baby girl with the 35-Year-Old in 2019 but only just confirmed the news with the world.
With this, the Musk family tree grows more by the day as Errol already has seven children while his son Elon Musk has fathered ten offspring.
In his interview with The Sun, Errol admitted Jana’s pregnancy was unplanned yet insisted: “The only thing we are on Earth for is to reproduce.” He told the publication they no longer live together, citing their 41-year-age gap. “It’s not practical. She’s 35. Eventually, if I’m still around, she might wind up back with me.”
Errol and Jana already share a 5-Year-Old, Elliot Rush, born in 2017.
He continued: “Any man who marries a [younger] woman, even if you feel very sprightly, it’s going to be nice for a while, but there’s a big gap, and that gap is going to show itself.” In 1970, Errol, a wealthy South African Engineer, married model Maye Halademan Musk with whom he had three children, Elon, Tosca, and Kimbal.
But the pair split in 1979, with Errol going on to wed Heide Bezuidenhout, a young widow who already had two children, including Jana.
At the time of their marriage, Errol and Heide [in the middle] had two biological children, but he also helped raise Jana, who was just four years old.
After an 18-year marriage, it witnessed a divorce. So far, Errol’s children have been left shocked and uncomfortable about the surprise pregnancy. He told The Sun: “They still don’t like it. They still feel a bit creepy about it because she’s their sister. Their half-sister.” The news of their first child has reportedly angered Elon, 51, who went berserk.
While Errol denies having a bad relationship with his billionaire son, Elon had described his dad as evil and a terrible human being.
However, Errol has not disclosed the name of his new daughter, who was born in 2019, and although he and Jana are no longer a couple, Errol said she and their two children have come to stay at his place in Pretoria, South Africa. He candidly stated: “They spent a few days here about six months ago. And the kids were starting to get on my nerves. Then I miss them as soon as they have gone.”
Errol further admitted he hadn’t asked Jana for paternity, saying: “I haven’t checked her DNA. But she looks just like my other daughters. So it’s pretty obvious, you know.”
He also stated other women are claiming he has also fathered their children. “I have about six people, women, who claim that their child is my child right now. Obviously, they are opportunists. [But] there was a period in Johannesburg in the ’80s that I was going out with a different woman every night. I had plenty of dates. So it’s quite conceivable that one of them could come back and say, ‘This is your child.’ It’s possible.”
Meanwhile, the elderly patriarch says he hasn’t ruled out having more children in the future. “If I could have another child. I would. I can’t see any reason not to.”
On the other hand, recent court documents revealed the tech billionaire quietly had twins with one of his top executives in November, weeks before he welcomed a child with music star Grimes. The Tesla CEO reportedly had twins with Shivon Zilis, 36, the director of operations at Musk’s brain-machine interface company Neuralink.
Musk now has nine known children with three different women after going through multiple divorces – including two splits from the same wife he married twice.
Notably, the news came to light when Musk and Zilis filed a petition in April to change the twins’ names to ‘have their father’s last name and contain their mother’s last name as part of their middle name. The twins were born in November 2021, weeks before the Space X founder and Claire Boucher, the musician who performs as Grimes, had their second child via surrogate in December.
