Elon Musk Pokes Fun At Shirtless Photos of Him Partying On A Yacht In Mykonos
He also assured investors, stating “already back in the factory.”
Ahead of his legal battle with Twitter, Elon Musk ensured he enjoyed a drink off the Greek Island. The 51-Year-Old, who looked pale, caught up on some rays to get some color on his bleached skin. Interestingly, he was pictured flaunting his bare chest while partying on the yacht in Mykonos.
As shirtless photos of Musk emerged on the internet, an investor hurriedly posted them to Twitter and wrote: “F*** yea, I got my $ behind this man. So many other smart investors.”
Unsurprisingly, Musk responded, saying: “Haha damn, maybe I should take off my shirt more often. Free the nip!! (Already back in the factory btw).” On the yacht, the Telsa founder had been joined by fashion designer Sarah Staudinger, 33, and her new husband, superstar agent and inspiration for HBO’s Entourage – Ari Emmanuel, 61.
This comes as Musk was recently linked with Australian actress Natasha Bassett, 27, after they were seen dining together in St. Tropez in the South of May.
Accordingly, Twitter is taking the Space X Founder to court over backing out of his $44billion takeover, expressing concerns over the number of fake accounts and bots on the social media site. District Judge Kathaleen McCormick, the chancellor of Delaware’s Court of Chancery, has set a 90-minute hearing in Wilmington.
Musk has yet to present any evidence to support his claims and has become embroiled in an online tussle with current Twitter CEO Parag Agrawal.
And as a result, Twitter requested a four-day trial in September to force Musk to go through with his initial bid. They hope the non-jury trial could begin on September 19, but legal experts have predicted the case will take two weeks. Judge Kathaleen has a reputation for being a no-nonsense judge who doesn’t take prisoners but has also been hailed for the fairness of her courtroom.
However, the lawsuit cites Musk’s May 16 tweet, among others, as evidence that he publicly disparaged Twitter in violation of the merger agreement before he backed.
The tweet with the smiling poop emoji was in response to Twitter CEO Parag, who had sent tweets explaining the company’s procedures to combat spam and fake accounts. In another tweet on May 17, Musk appeared to encourage the SEC to investigate the accuracy of Twitter’s public disclosures. But the crux of Twitter’s argument is that the world’s richest man is bound by the deal to buy the company he signed on April 25th.
