Colossal Galaxy Note 10 vs. Huawei Mate 30 Pro
Who will win your wallet?
There are rumors everywhere and it’s becoming harder to make a good choice. But since leaks by IceUniverse is often on point with a lot of renderings and proofs, we can be sure that we’ve 80% of what Galaxy Note 10 and Huawei Mate 30 Pro will look like.
As everyone knows, Huawei always wins when it comes to pricing. Their flagship products can always compare to giant tech companies like Samsung and obviously, Apple.
Samsung Galaxy Note 10 will arrive first.
This picture is a rendering and illustration of ‘Aqua Glow’ version of Galaxy Note 10 which looks awesome. Because it doesn’t stay in one color and is much better than the gradient color most phones are going with right now. It doesn’t have one fixed color and will look awesome no matter which angle you use.
And it’s also going to be unpacked on August 7 which will reveal what the Note 10 will look like.
Galaxy Note 10 is reported to arrive with triple camera, although several sources quoted that it might have four to accommodate ToF (time of flight) lens. It will also have one selfie camera which will appear as a tiny cutout on the screen. This adopts similar step they took for S10, but it’s positioned in the middle instead of in the corner.
The biggest thing about Note 10 is always the S-pen which no other flagship has and will remain be their thing. The S-pen is given more fancy features that you guys will love to check out in person. It will have ‘Air Action’ feature that gives you the ability to make commands through the pen without touching the screen. And it’s going to be more than taking pictures.
Note 10 will also arrive in two models: one with a 6.28-inch display and another with a colossal 6.75-inch panel.
Still with notch, Huawei Mate 30 Pro arrives later.
Huawei Mate 30 Pro is losing in terms of screen size (or is it winning?). It will feature 6.71 inches fullscreen V2.0 with beautiful curved Super AMOLED screen which is very slightly smaller compared to Note 10. But when it comes to screen ratio, Note 10 wins since it doesn’t have any notch but a small cutout.
People are trashing Mate 30 Pro for the huge notch it is bringing, but hey, it’s not like it doesn’t come with a good reason. Rumors say that the front notch will have a selfie camera, speaker, proximity sensor and one important feature. Huawei is featuring ToF to improve face unlock security as well as AR/VR emojis.
Plus, Samsung isn’t exactly sharing their drilled OLED with others, so Huawei has to settle with this.
Okay, so Mate 30 Pro is going to have quad-camera, a selfie camera, wide-angle and in-depth, yada yada yada…
The new thing about 30 Pro is their Cine Lens which Huawei has a trademark on. This Cine Lens allows you not just to take high-quality videos, but superb, stable, high-quality videos that won’t give people vertigos. It basically allows you to take videos that are equal to movies.
To a minimum, because it’s more like a modified cine lens for a smartphone.
We are also not yet sure how large the videos will be and if the smartphone has enough storage to handle this. It might be too soon to assume that vloggers will finally have a smartphone that substitutes their camera. But this is definitely a great step towards that.
