Canadian Tattoo Maniac Who Covered His Whole Body Shows Off His New Tattoo

“My project is nowhere near finished, so plan to be a lot more ‘sick of me.'”

Remy from Alberta, Canada, is an extreme tattoo lover who documents his journey in getting as much of his body to be covered in tattoos. He shared with his 177k Instagram followers his latest modifications, which are more details on the huge tattoo pattern on his chest.

Remy has been getting piercings and tattoos since he was a teenager.

He shared, “When I got my first piercings, I was seen as the weird kid. Picked on by many of my peers.”

“But as I went farther into my passions, that fear was becoming curiosity, and that hatred became love.”

“Years later, having started my blackout tattoos, I saw a very similar thing happen all over again.”

Remy often calls his project a “forever work in progress” as he never stops adding and changing his tattoos. The latest update from a week ago shows the fine details of veins surrounding the black dots on his chest.

He also shared what he used to look like, sharing how he’s now in his better place compared to when he was at his heaviest.

Throughout his years of posting, however, there isn’t a short of negative comments from observers.

Remy wrote, “I’ve been around awhile, and so it’s no surprise that there are some people who are ‘sick of me’ or sick of seeing this project. That’s okay. I’ve got thick skin (physically and of course metaphorically speaking).”

“My project is nowhere near finished, so plan to be a lot more ‘sick of me.'”

Speaking about why he blacked out, Remy explained that he didn’t have any offensive tattoos that he was trying to cover up.

“I found that I didn’t really want to stop,” he shared in a video. “I know with blacked out; I can continue tattooing.”

That was how he started blacking out parts of his body and then added new tattoos again over them. People were always amazed at what he managed to pull on what seemed like a finished project. One wrote, “I’m consistently fascinated by your tattoo journey! Every time you post, I always think, ‘wait, he can do MORE??’ and it’s so beautiful. Props to you and your artist!”

He also jokes about his ear piercings, “It’s either modern art or a finely aged cheese.”

Remy also has a son in his teenage years, often featured in the videos he shared on Instagram. When asked if he’s going to get him tattoos or piercings, Remy answered, “If he wants to get tattoos and piercings like I did, he’ll have my blessing, but if he doesn’t, that’s fine too.”

“It will be his decision, and in either case, he’ll have my full support, the same as any parent should give.”

“It’s honestly a little sad that we even have to wonder these things; family of all things should be unconditional.”
