Bruce Willis celebrated Thanksgiving 2023 with his family. His wife, Emma Heming Willis, shared a sweet post on Instagram, showing Bruce and Emma alongside their daughters Mabel, 11, and Evelyn, 9. Also present in the photo is the actor’s ex-wife, Demi Moore, who had previously shared a similar image from his birthday party the day after the celebration. Additionally, their daughters Rumer Willis, Tallulah Willis (29), Scout Willis (32), and the latter’s partner Jake Miller are also featured in the picture.
“I’m grateful and thankful to know this kind of love,” Bruce Willis’ wife, Emma Heming, wrote. “Wishing you all a happy Thanksgiving.”
As seen in the post, the group was also joined by two of the family’s pets, Demi’s tiny Chihuahua Pilaf and Tallulah’s Chihuahua Goose. Emma expressed her gratitude and thankfulness for the love that the family shared. She wished everyone a happy Thanksgiving. The family gathering took place two months after Emma revealed that it is hard to know whether Bruce is aware of his frontotemporal dementia (FTD) diagnosis. FTD is an umbrella term for a group of brain disorders that affect the frontal and temporal lobes of the brain. It causes speech issues, emotional problems, and personality changes.
Reportedly, Emma had shared her struggles with guilt, knowing that she has resources that others don’t, in caring for Bruce. She also wrote an article for Maria Shriver’s Sunday Paper, where she spoke about the challenges of living with FTD and finding a community that understands. Despite the challenges, Emma continues to stand by Bruce, and their love for each other is evident in the photos that she shares on social media. In one post, Emma described Bruce’s love as the warmest and coziest blanket. She also shared a video of herself blowing out candles on her birthday cake. Indeed, this is a reminder that family is essential and that love can conquer all.
