“I forgive you and I’m praying for you, I hope that God delivers you.”

A video from inside a church in Brooklyn has shown how a pastor and his wife were robbed of over $1 million in jewelry while preaching at church on Sunday. The flashy Bishop, Lamor Miller-Whitehead, is well known for wearing designer outfits and extravagant jewelry.

A part of the live stream showed one perpetrator holding a gun on the pastor & interrupting his sermon.

“All right, all right, all right,” Whitehead said in the video as he raised his hands and lowered himself to the floor. The footage from CNN affiliate WCBS is no longer available, but Whitehead reportedly explained what happened. He said: “That ‘all right, all right, all right is pretty much stating that I don’t want, I’m not going to do anything, right, ‘cause I know y’all coming for me, y’all coming straight to me. I don’t want my parishioners hurt.”

He added: “I got women and children there. As I got down, one went to my wife and took all her jewelry and had the gun in front of my 8-month-old baby’s face.”

“Took my bishop’s ring, my wedding band and took off my bishop chain and then I had chains underneath my robe, and starts tapping my neck to see (there was) anything else. So that means they knew, they watched, and they knew that I have other jewelry.” Whitehead continued that there were gunmen with firearms raised to deacons at the door as well.

He then expressed: “My church is traumatized.”

Police said they received a report that three people entered the Leaders of Tomorrow Church Sunday with firearms and removed the jewelry pastor Lamor and his wife were wearing. NYPD noted the investigation is ongoing, and about 20 to 50 congregants were present. Accordingly, it was reported the suspects took over $1million worth of jewelry, fled the location in a white Mercedes-Benz vehicle & seen traveling eastbound on Avenue D.

Whitehead has since urged those responsible to turn themselves in to the police, saying: “I forgive you and I’m praying for you, you know and I hope that God delivers you from the mindset of who you are at this time.”

However, the pastor’s bio says he attended the New York Theological Seminary & completed his studies with a Ministry in Human Service certificate from the Theological Institution of Rising Hope Inc. It earned him a licensed New York State Chaplain & certified marriage and funeral officiate. His church bio also says was adopted as a mentee by Eric Adams, the former Brooklyn Borough President and current mayor of New York.
