Blake Lively Gets A Sweet Kiss From Ryan Reynolds As She Visits Him On Deadpool 3 Set
Blake Lively surprised Ryan Reynolds on the set of Deadpool 3.
The actor got quite a special treat during his busy shooting day for his upcoming superhero film Deadpool 3 with Hugh Jackman. Ryan Reynolds welcomed his wife Blake Lively with a sweet kiss on the beach location. The 35-Year-Old sported a casual and cool look as she dropped by the shoot in Norfolk, England, with two of their older daughters.
Reynolds welcomed Blake Lively, his wife of almost seven years with a cuddle as they spent time together.
The actress highlighted her post-baby body, wearing a sleek white cropped tank top that showed off a hint of her trim midriff. Lively kept the look relaxed with a white long-sleeve button-down shirt paired with high-waisted navy-blue leather pants. For her hair, the Age of Adeline actress wore them in long blond hair and let it flutter about in the breeze.
For his part, Reynolds suited up in his iconic red costume to play the character, Deadpool.
On set, he was joined by his longtime friend, Hugh Jackman, who is reprising his role as the X-Men superhero Wolverine. Both Blake Lively and Reynolds have remained protective of their children and haven’t revealed the youngest one’s name or s*x. The actor reportedly had plenty of time with their daughters as he picked up one of the little girls while another stood by his side and gripped his belt as he chatted in a circle with Hugh and other crew members.
The Green Lantern actor and Hugh had previously been seen in the same location to film scenes in which Deadpool and Wolverine battled each other and in between had stunt doubles to take on the most dangerous fight moves.
The X-Men actor displayed signs of his earlier battle as he sported a fake katana blade attached to his costume, creating the illusion of it being stuck in his abdomen. Both Deadpool and Wolverine possessed the ability of rapid healing, so the potentially fatal injury wouldn’t have been of much concern for his character. Despite previously stating he had concluded his portrayal of the long-standing character, the 54-year-old Australian star returned, thanks to his friendship with Ryan who did enough to lure him back.
Reynolds announced the casting of the A-list actor Hugh in September 2022 through a video message to his fans, although the details of how Wolverine would be resurrected for the film remained unclear.
Patrick Stewart, Jackman’s co-star in Logan, also made a comeback with a cameo appearance in last year’s Doctor Strange In The Multiverse Of Madness, reprising an alternate version of his role as Charles Xavier, the leader of the X-Men. In a December 2022 interview with SiriusXM’s Radio Andy, Hugh provided clarification on how Wolverine would be brought back in the film. The Australian actor said Deadpool would utilize a time machine to rescue him before his demise in the previous movie, so as not to screw with Logan, which was important to him.

Hugh expressed his excitement about joining the project. ‘If I’m really honest, I’d announced Logan was my last and then I went to see the Deadpool movie and I was 20 minutes in and I was like, “Curses! All I could see those whole movies was — first of all I loved the movie — but all I could see was Nick Nolte and Eddie Murphy in 48 Hours. And I was like, “This is something I haven’t done with the character. That’s the kind of dynamic we haven’t had before,” Hugh explained.
