Barbie Launches A Gender-Neutral Doll Collection ‘Free Of Labels’

Eliminating traditional taboos!

Barbie’s manufacturer has officially launched a range of gender-neutral dolls. The newly-designed dolls can either be a boy or a girl as well as both.

Mattel – the same manufacturer that created Barbie dubbed the dolls as the world’s first gender-inclusive dolls and hoped to redefine who gets to play with a doll in a bid to eradicate the traditional taboo.

‘Toys are a reflection of culture and as the world will continually celebrate the positive effect of inclusivity, we agreed it was the perfect time to launch a doll line free of labels.’ The Vice President of Mattel Fashion Doll Design, Kim Culmone explained.

Available in varieties of skin tones, the newly designed dolls can be styled with a long-haired wig and dressed in shorts, skirt, pants and in different styles of footwear and sunglasses.
