Amber Heard’s Bruising Photos Evidence Couldn’t Be Validated, Metadata Expert Says
“There’s no way for any forensic expert to validate these photos.”
Metadata expert Norbert “Bryan” Neumeister has been brought to share his insight and opinions to the court on the pictures Amber Heard’s team submitted as evidence against Johnny Depp’s abuse, and he was unable to confirm their legitimation.
The man worked with one of the pictures submitted that showed the metadata of the file and concluded that it may have gone through an editing app.
The expert explained that on the “software” line, the information provided, should the picture be genuine with no editing involved, shows the operating system version, not “Photos 3.0” as shown on the screen.
In his own words, Neumeister explained, “Nobody can identify the authenticity of any of the photos marked Photos 3, Photos 1, or just marked with the OS number, and the reason is the manner of collection.”
He also added that these pictures that showed a bruise on Heard’s arm “don’t match forensically.”
Neumeister explained that they “had to go through some type of transformation to change sizes” and eventually concluded his testimony for the jurors that there was “no way for any forensic expert to validate these photos.”
Users have also shared a comparison of pictures that showed Heard tampered with the image to redden her skintone.
The high-profile $100 million defamation lawsuit continues as the public’s opinion has completely gone against Heard.
