Woman, 36, Charged For Repeatedly Calling 911 To Complain Her Parents Cut Off Her Cell Phone

A woman is currently facing a 4th-degree felony charge for repeatedly calling 911 to report her parents had shut off her cell phone connection.
Seloni Khetarpal, 36, from Canton was detained by the Massillon Police Department after calling the Regional Emergency Dispatch Center despite being warned to call for only legitimate reasons.

But instead, Khetarpal continued the emergency calls believing the cell phone disconnect is a 911 issue. The emergency calls started on February 13th and Khetarpal demanded urgent police assistance.
When warned not to call again for the complaint, Khetarpal called again and again for several hours. The woman, according to court documents was belligerent and claimed it was a legitimate reason to make the emergency calls.

Khetarpal was arrested at around 8:40 p.m. and was charged for disturbing public services. Appearing in court on February 14th, Khetarpal bond was set for $2,500.

Scheduled for a preliminary hearing on February 27th, Khetarpal, according to the information on her website is originally from the United Kingdom but presently resides in Canton, Ohio.
