Jennifer Castro was on a flight from Rio de Janeiro when she got slammed for not moving from her seat despite the 4-year-old’s distress. In a clip online, Jennifer Castro was calmly listening to her headphones while a passenger slammed her for not giving up her window seat.

While her stance is criticized by some people, many have been overwhelmingly supportive with comments like, “If they want a better place, they must pay. Don’t worry, girl, you did nothing wrong; you paid for your seat!” flooding her posts.
Before this incident, Castro had a modest following on social media but has now risen to fame, with followers of over 2 million.
In an interview following the incident, the child’s mother clarified she had never asked for the seat or confronted Castro, appearing to distance herself from the viral debate.
