Teacher Faces 12 Years In Jail After Sleeping With Her Student, 17

Abby Dibbs, a 35-year-old ex-English teacher, is persecuted for having a relationship with one of her students at a Wisconsin school where she used to teach. The teacher is charged with sexual assault and has admitted to having slept with her student twice.

The student she slept with also admitted to the relationship and stated that he was “in love” with his teacher.

The student also added that he was pissed to know someone had snitched on his relationship with his teacher. Naturally, Dibbs is no more employed at the school anymore.

According to a report, the teacher had discussed with the student about their feelings. Together with that, they’ve established a line that they promise not to cross until it was time. Portage PD Sgt. Max Jenatscheck, however, added that they couldn’t keep their words.

“Dibbs admitted that these lines were then crossed.”

Meanwhile, the teen’s mother was thankful that someone had reported about their inappropriate relationship.

Dibbs had paid the $3,500 bail with restrictions, such as never contacting the 17-year-old anymore in the future. She is also not allowed unsupervised meetings with the underage, aside from her own children, and is banned from the premises of Portage High School.
