50 Cent Hits Back At Body Shaming Trolls Following His Super Bowl Performance

Let’s stop making comments about people’s bodies.

50 Cent has finally responded to the derogatory comments about his body after his super bowl performance. Many tweets had zeroed in on the rappers’ appearance, with many pointing out he wasn’t the same size when the song he performed at the event initially launched.

50 Cent had first stylishly responded to trolls, posting some merch on his Twitter page.

The New York Post has since interpreted his action as him taking advantage of the social media attention brought on from the fat-shaming. It then appeared as though the rapper himself saw the New York Post article as she shared the headline on his Instagram and captioned it: “I call this teasing me.”

He added: “They’re just teasing me because they know I can drop the weight. That’s why I laugh with them. Fat shaming only applies when you’re ashamed of your fat.”

It’s no news that 50 Cent hasn’t treated others kindly on social media in the past. Back in December, he had mocked Madonna’s lingerie photos, saying: “That’s Madonna under the bed trying to do ‘Like A Virgin’ at 63. She shot out if she don’t get her old a** up.”

Two months before that, 50 Cent had compared Lil Kim to the character from the movie Leprechaun. Thankfully, he apologized to Madonna in a now-deleted tweet.

However, 50 Cent was one of the surprise guests or perhaps performers alongside Dr. Dre, Mary J. Blige, Snoop Dogg, Kendrick Lamar, and Eminem at the Super Bowl. He performed “In da Club” and even started off the performance upside-down as an homage to the original music video.
