And they are featured in more than 300 newspapers, and many of us probably grew up reading them, and his art style is just ingrained in our memory. They bring a sense of nostalgia now.

His Bizarro comics earned the ‘Best Panel Feature’ award from the National Cartoonists Society for three consecutive years from 2002-2004 and then once more in 2016. He was also chosen as the ‘Cartoonist of the Year’ in 2009 by the National Cartoonists Society. He also received ‘Genesis Awards’ from the Humane Society of the United States more than once!
