30 People Who Shared Their ‘Weakest Claim To Fame’
Margareth SPublished on
Not all of us have seen celebrities in the flesh. Maybe we didn’t notice them as we go through our daily lives, nor do we spend time to go on fan meetings, cons, or events where we get to seem them live. There are some lucky enough to meet and even conversed with these people; then, there are these people.
It was started by Steve O’Brien, who shared a bit of his love life that involved the cousin of someone who played a side character in ‘Doctor Who.’ It turns out that many people have been waiting for the chance to share their experiences as well.
Steve O’Brien dated this person.
And this person, too.
He was really hurt.
Fancy Feast models.
Some people are hell-bent on meeting the celebrity of their dream, no matter how hard or costly it is. Like me, some never had that one person that you idolize so much so that you have to see them at least once in your life. It would be super awesome if we do see them, but they, too, are human beings just like us in the end.
Your grandpa was WHAT?
Hey, it’s verified fame.
A seemingly normal kid.
Zachary Quinto was here.
Met the meme himself.
You still remember your lab partner from 6th grade?
He, uh, what?
A visit to our school and a box of snacks.
Alec Baldwin from 20 years ago.
Must have been traumatic.
Celebrity encounters have proven to be both a blessing and a curse for people. Some happily share how they recently met this person who is famous and was generously tipped for serving them. There are also some who couldn’t forget how horrible celebrities treat people who are not ‘on the same level’ as them.
This is not weak by any stretch!
Cher does not appreciate his sense of humor.
Friends with that guy.
That’s… that is actually very nice.
An accident some people could only dream of.
A refusal he won’t ever forget.
Quite an honor.
Dang him, making the chef staying up all night.
The question is does the cat remember you?
He got a scene in!
Celebrities are humans, too, no matter how much they make, how famous they are, and how great the movies or songs were. Just like us, there is a limit as to how much exposure they can handle. While many like to say that fans are a big part of why they are where they are, it is easy to be overwhelmed by the attention and constant prying into their private lives!
Sounds badass to be honest.
You had a fake date with an SNL member?
Oh, the acclaimed Parasite’s producer.
Such a nice person.
Hey, at least these claims mean that you are somehow, in some way, connected to a famous figure through a stretched line.
