Roby Poche from Austin, Texas, had always wanted to try making comics. And like how it was for many people who just started, the pandemic and forced lockdown gave him a lot of free time to do just that. He draws comics under the name ‘StrangeTrek’ and has been sharing them on Reddit and Instagram.

Sometimes, all we need is just a medium to channel our weirdest ideas and funniest jokes. And for many people, comics are the easiest ways to do that. Poche draws many things, but his first works revolved around horror themes, especially the Grim Reaper. Now, he also draws about pop culture and finds his references from shows or trending topics!

He does leave a message to people before they read his comics: “Sorry for the ones you don’t like, sorrier for the ones you do.”
